Chorion Birth
Nurture & Protect
BIRTH ○ EDUCATION ○ LACTATION
Physically, the chorion is the second layer of the placenta that nurtures and protects the baby. Conceptually, it represents the belief that every structure needs two layers of support, such as family being bolstered by a wider community, or birthing parents being supported by their team in the birth and postpartum space.
This philosophy reflects the kind of support I believe people deserve during pregnancy and birth: both personal and communal, practical and emotional.
Chorion Birth is rooted in the idea that no one should navigate this transition alone.
A soft landing with evidence based information
This philosophy reflects the support I believe people deserve in pregnancy and birth: personal and communal, practical and emotional.
Pregnancy and birth are threshold spaces — not just into parenthood, but into a new relationship with your body and your agency.
My work is grounded in physiology and evidence, with room for intuition, humor, and ritual when it’s supportive. I offer childbirth education and birth support for people who want clear information, steady presence, and room to trust themselves.
You might arrive with a plan. You might arrive with questions. You might arrive somewhere in between.
All of it is welcome here.
